Final Destination: Bloodlines

Image
(Warning: possible SPOILERS ahead) It’s back and making us terrified of every day things again. I’ve always been a huge fan of the Final Destination series so I was incredibly excited to hear they’d be making a new one and this Friday just gone I finally managed to see it. So here’s my thoughts.. Final Destination has always had a way of making us scared of every day things, a log truck, rollercoaster, sunbed, massage parlours, going to the cinema and even gymnastics and it definitely carries that legacy on into the new one. The kills in this one are just as crazy as the rest.. I mean having your face torn to shreds by a lawnmower isn’t something you think about when you decide to sort your garden out is it? Or being squished to death by a rubbish truck, also not something we often think about.  Whilst I enjoyed the premise of the movie and the kills, I personally don’t think it was executed particularly well. It felt a little underwhelming in some parts but in others it had...

The ‘Angel Of Our Dreams’

I think it’s always really interesting to see what solo music former group members release. It gives us a look into their own personal style and what they want to say for themselves. Sometimes it doesn’t work out but for Jade it seems this is just the beginning of an amazing solo career. She was always my favourite member of Little Mix and now smashing it solo. Lines like  “Sellin’ my soul to a psycho / they say I’m so lucky”  seem to throw some serious shade at her past experiences in the industry, particularly her ti...

Horror movies—love them or hate them, there's no denying their ability to get under your skin. Whether it's the spine-chilling suspense, the eerie atmosphere, or the downright terrifying jump scares, the best horror films stick with you long after the credits roll. I've watched my fair share of creepy, unsettling, and downright disturbing films over the years, and today, I'm sharing some of my favourites. Scream (1996)   I couldn’t start this list without mentioning my absolute favourite horror film, the first one I ever watched, the one that made me fall in love with the genre. It is the ultimate slasher flick that flipped the horror genre on its head.  When a masked killer known as Ghostface starts terrorizing the small town of Woodsboro, high schooler Sidney Prescott finds herself at the center of the blood-soaked chaos. But this isn't your typical horror movie— Scream  is self-aware, packed with meta-humor, and loves to poke fun at the "rules" of hor...
